Pomerene Center for the Arts: Light in the Dark
Light in the Dark is a co-created art installation by the people of Coshocton, Pomerene Center for the Arts, and OBLSK Interactive, and consists of 30 hand dyed and constructed lanterns that hang and glow vibrant colors while projecting a pathway of patterns onto the ground below at the Pomerene Center for the Arts. Each lantern is hand made and unique, made by a member of the Coshocton community and glows different colors and projects different patterns. In many cultures patterns are used to depict tribes, families, and individuals. When the 30 lanterns glow together their patterns represent a community in Coshoctan. The Lanterns are made from biodegradable materials. Small Wonders make great strides.
